[There’s little to make it obvious whether Liem is genuinely interested in D’s blood-capsule science or he’s just being polite, since he looks just as politely earnest as he has for much of the conversation. But even if they sound pretty gross, he can’t deny that a small supply of such things would be useful to have around, just in case.]
Assuming you can find the equipment you need, those pills do sound like they’d be useful in an emergency.
