Liem's mindscape is dark; quiet; contemplative. Any feelings or sensations that Liem doesn't intentionally project himself seem distant, as though echoing from a far-off room. Following any given sense to its source is bafflingly difficult.

[In her weakened state, even the words of communion don’t come through clearly. It’s like they’re underwater, so far away, like everything else feels too as she tries to pull herself out of the drugged sleep the demon had forced on her, stumbling weakly through the streets at night towards… towards “home”.

One hoof in front of the other… one hoof…

But as things grow clearer… her control over that spiritual sense slowly returns, too. She feels someone (someone she once trusted, once thought was her friend) brushing against her mind, asking for her attention, for information, and before she can let herself even fully process it-

She uses her slowly regained strength to finish blocking him out. Blocking everyone out.

But not without a potent cocktail of shame, despair, disgust, and humiliation spilling out as the “door” wedges shut.]
